I accidentally broke this man's mirror as I was exiting the passenger side of a friends car. He came speeding round the corner and as i opened the door he came flying past and the door clipped his mirror and broke it. I was apologetic and offered to pay for a replacement. This is the thread of communication between myself and the driver (syril) . I know that I should have been more careful when leaving my friends car but he came round the corner really fast. I accept responsibility and wanted to pay pay for the damage. I did by best to resolve the issue I a timely matter but obviously was not good enough. Be warned when dealing with this man he comes across nice and friendly but clearly has no compassion for people.

We spent time together just laying in bed listening to Erasure , Jimmy Somerville, Will Young, and erm... Paul Weller Cd's.

You think that's bad? Try dealing with a senile old man with dementia that despite reversing into me, seemingly completely forgot the event the next day and then began ringing me accusing me of the damage and had to fork out £300 in damages in fear of losing my NCD.
Before you ask; I was alone, my dashcam was broke (no idea until this happened) and he had a bitch of a wife who wasn't as senile but lied along with him. Wouldn't be surprised if she was involved in the manipulation. So there's no way the insurers would back me up.
Fact is you we're at fault and frankly, lucky the guy put up with your procrastinating since the old twat I had to deal with wouldn't even wait 48 hours to get something that wasn't even my fault fixed.
