I'm not sure the police would allow access to such information, unless charges were filed. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can enlighten us.
I do know that from the reg you can find out certain, pertinent details regarding the car..
YF52 OBL is a Red 2003 Vauxhall Astra Sri Dti with a numberplate first registered in LEEDS between September 2002 and February 2003.
This Hatchback was first used on the road on Wednesday 29th January 2003.
I can also tell you that YF52 OBL was last taken in for an MOT on Mon 5th January 2015 (pass). However, I do not know if it was the same driver as naturally ownership of the car could have changed hands.
The police response also annoys me, to be honest. Don't they have a duty to follow up such reports.. a duty of car, to protect and to serve? An oath they swore when they took the job?
If anyone else can find more pertinent details perhaps they could post the info? I'm no expert either, but perhaps this could help.. ‘reasonable cause’:
Thanks for giving me as much information as you could. I appreciate that.
I don't know if charges were filed just like I don't know if they were spoken to by police or got away with it. Is there a way I can find out?
It happened in June 2012 which was 4 years ago and indeed ownership could have changed hands. I wonder if everyone who owned that car can be found out.
I'm not particularly pleased with the police response either. I want to know if justice was done and I wish they had followed it up.
Thanks for that link and I've had a look at it. I'd like to fill in one of those forms, but unfortunately I don't own a printer.
Do you know if that form or anything equivalent can be filled in online?
YF52 OBL was last taken in for an MOT on Oct 13 2015 (FAIL). Since then it appears the reg has not been stored on the MOT or insurance database, and neither has it been declared as SORN.
One day I was walking down the street minding my own business when this car drove by me. The driver beeped their horn to get my attention then someone in the passenger seat exposed themselves to me!
It was a horrible sight and to do that was very wrong. I reported them for indecent exposure and was told the owner of the car might be spoken to or there might not be time. To this day I still wonder who both the car owner and offender are and if they were spoken to or got away with it.
