Road rage incident, driver thought he should just block the road to sort it out. Luckily unmarked ARV was going in the opposite direction -

I saw this on the internet and was disappointed and appalled at the person who put this video up. I was the driver of the car that was let out the T Junction. The driver of the Range Rover did nothing wrong. He was letting a passenger out at the corner of the road when I approached and needed to get by. He graciously moved he's vehicle a matter of feet to give me way. What I did after was more dangerous ( even though it was a genuine mistake which people do make ). I am upset for the driver being trolled for him minding his own business and being curtious. Some people need to get a life and let innocent people live their own and maybe the world would be a better place.

After seeing this video, it is evident that the driver was 1.Trying to straighten up their parking or 2. Making way for someone to turn out of the T Junction. The cyclist clearly did not stop and approach the driver as he would've found out exactly what the driver was doing then the entire video would have been irrelevant. Just my observation.

I can understand where your comment comes from. If the cyclist had approached the driver and the driver had explained what had happened or apologised then the cyclist intention to humiliate the driver would be void. Would be interesting to see what the driver would've said should they had been approached.

Why would the video have been irrelevant?

barbyonabike may not have posted on this site, it could have been anyone. I agree that "homo" wasn't very nice and I do not feel it was appropriate.

The way I see it, this appears to be a mistake on the part of the driver. On many occasions I see people who, for whatever reason, drive without their lights on.

However there appears to be a further, separate issue here, regarding a person's lawful right to film a public space. Apparently the driver or the person who knows them, took exception to being filmed, and the situation now has descended into name-calling and accusations.

I could be wrong and if I am I apologize. It's just my observation. Why not everyone draw a line under this, and move on? For all we know both sides could be decent people.

So me personally, I don't see a big issue with the car being driven without lights. The road design itself appears problematic, too all road users (narrow, busy with T-junctions and fast-moving traffic). Take care all.
