Right result in the end 👍
Now needs to get done for careless driving and refusing to exchange details. Won't hold my breath on that one though......

Quote from YT description: "Update: 'Hi everyone. Just a quick update. on 21.06.2016 itself, the police have been informed and incident has been reported. I finally got in touch with company on 23.06.2016 after communicating them on twitter and since the video went viral, they have said that they have carried out investigation but they didn't provide me with any details of it. I later on got a call from the driver and he has said that he will look after the expenses for the bike damages.'"

WHAT is the company going to do about this thug?

insufficient response from DPD

As stated by others (although we all know the law (police) don't give a shit about victims) the driver deserves points, deserves "advanced driver training course" and the sack for bringing the company's reputation disrepute

Until such time as the law (including police) gets off it's large fat ass and becomes pro-active we (the normal everyday citizens) will continue to see more and more of these cases of bad drivers/bad attitudes

I think his insurers will have a clear case to apply to the MIB for the drivers details here and pursue a claim. Looks like a slam-dunk to me. Hopefully that'll wipe the smile off his arrogant face.

I can think of another thing that would almost certainly achieve the same: a punch to his throat. Looks to me like he was assaulting the gentlemen with camera; the moment he entered his space and kicked his belonging is the moment he deserved to get decked. What a seemingly horrible man, one who has yet to understand the very simple principle most of us do in this county: don't get in people's faces like that unless you want a) a beating, b) a court summons and c) the sack. Whichever comes first..yob.

It appears DPD has taken some action against the driver. However, a big question arises..which came first: giving a shit or being notified the story was going viral? See where I'm coming from? Basically a lot of these companies only give a damn when they think their profit margins might suffer..

nightmare, judging by his apparent aggressiveness I think he deserves to be fired. Such thuggery is completely and utterly unacceptable and if THIS is the kind of image DPD wants to send out? Then no doubt Sports Direct won't be the only lesson learned hard, right?

hmmmm DPD like Sports Direct possibly?
That's the only reason I can give for the DPD driver failing to give insurance details.

The majority of British drivers who have passed a British driving test would be made aware of the Highway Code and Traffic Laws (including giving insurance details after an accident)
I hope the DPD driver gets fined for failing to stop
