You, however.. I think you owe it to yourself and others to think about and act upon the advice given..
The person filming this interaction doesn't owe you an explanation. The truck had initiated the over-take the moment they exited the bend - any attempt by the motorcyclist to over-take at that point would have cut the truck driver up and made it far more dangerous for all road users.
You have to be aware of what's behind you, not just in front, and you have to give vulnerable road users extra space.
Just think about it a little..weigh up the situation. Drive according to the conditions. Don't over-take where it isn't safe, or practical. Do these things ring any bells? They should if you use our roads..

I'd love to see you try and complain to a traffic officer, I really would; I think it would bring you down a peg or two and may just (hopefully) make you a SAFER road user.
. You have failed to mention the first three cars all over-took closely together on the approach to a bend, with oncoming traffic.
. You failed to mention the motorcyclist - who is keeping a suitable distance behind the cyclist - follows them on the apex, again, within oncoming traffic. There's also a junction.
The very fact it has to be explained to you that over-taking on an apex is a bad idea says a lot about your attitude.
The motorcyclists was in realty legal, safe and respectful of others whilst keeping a close eye on hazards - try it some time, it may just save you taking someone's life..

i DID overtake him. i slowed down to sit behind him, then went passed after saying how good the truck driver was to the other rider, who agreed.
