its true, dogs dont sweat and i hate the things. Theyre just wolves. Nothing good about them at all. They bite you, they growl, they attack children, they attack smaller animals, they poop everywhere, they run in the road at bikers and cyclists, horrible things. That being said, i would have still broken the window as im a nice person. So what if the police try to fine me? i'd just put my bike helmet on....

Probably because you will almost certainly end up spending a night in a cell of you do and a criminal record, even if it was with good intentions.

As awful it is to see animals suffer from people's lack of respect/care for their pet's wellbeing, even I would think twice about doing that as I'd almost certainly lose my job and god only know what other repercussions.

It's a shitty situation but don't blame OP. Hopefully the dog is okay.

Shows how much you know. Dogs sweat through glands in their paws and, when stressed, they sweat through apocrine glands on their body. This gives off a pretty strong smell and can leave dogs' fur quite damp. I've experienced it myself with a very nervous foster dog.
