I have got a camera, but at the time I was cycling the other way. If I was on the bus, I would have certainly recorded this.
Had a reply from Arriva today stating that they couldn't retrieve CCTV evidence of the incident, but interviewed the driver and reminded him that it's unacceptable and that he should concentrate on the road at all times. So a decent outcome I suppose even though I had no hard evidence and just eyesight.

Arriva bus driver was using his phone whilst driving with passengers. Arriva aren't interested either after ignoring two emails by me and nearly a month later with no response.

It's enough to include link to photo or youtube or facebook movie into comment's content in order to attach them to the comment
the best thing to do is get hard evidence. I know someone in a similar situation; the driver is being abusing, lying, and refusing service for no good reason. How these people gets jobs being in charge of people I don't understand. Suffice to say, my camera is being charged ready for uploading onto a YT account. I'm not vindictive or petty, but with some people you cannot win by going through the immediate channels - you have to catch them at it for heads to turn.
