Almost ran over an elderly couple who were part way across the zebra crossing on Palmerston Road in Aberdeen this afternoon, didn't stop, just carried on driving into Union Square car park, the elderly couple got a proper scare!

If you're riding a scooter on the pavement, and something is preventing you from scooting further - DO NOT just decide to use the road.
get off the scooter and WALK on the pavement.
If you had been run over, it would likely have been put down as the fault of the driver, when in reality it would have been your own stupidity in failing to preserve your own life.
Get back to school, listen to your teachers and for god's sake, child, look before you leap.
