11 seconds into the footage the cyclist starts to pull onto the white road markers.
The road markings are 4 meters long I counted 9 white road markings before the cyclist even got to the car, that is 36 meters plus the gaps between the marking at 2 meters, so I counted 9, so 9 x 2=18, so a total of 54 meters, so why did he pull out on a fast moving car that he saw in his mirror?
Here is why, the cyclist was just looking for a reaction from the driver, and got one so now he tries to make the driver look bad for overtaking, when in reality the cyclist could have just let the driver pass without any reaction. Cyclist got what he was looking to get......YouTube footage.
Cyclist definitely tried a road captain manoeuvre. Picture shows how far he was away when he pulled out to try the block on the car. That's a hell of a long way off.
Look closely, before the car had passed, he had his hand off the brake/handlebar to gesture. He knew it was coming and deliberately went out to block.
Well done for not being aggressive. Clearly this driver is in the wrong making a silly manoeuvre while there is traffic. He should of waited but wanted to cause a drama.
Saw this guy driving in Cambridge. I believe his name is Deji. Great driver. Just wanting to say that people rate him down because just they dont like his YouTube. He is very responsible on the road.
Im 50/50 on this one im affraid, Cyclist you pulled out real too soon as to overtake parked cars and this driver was maybe travelling at 40mph or more so maybe a lack of concentration on your own behalf resulting in you pulling out in front of Focus and then Driver of Ford still has no right acting the way he did towards you and slamming on his breaks as thats unacceptable, I would find it interesting to see any rear view camera footage as most cyclists these days cover front and back, Its just a personal thought
