Car registration AXZ 9247, listed as a "blue Sabb" on GOV.UK. I was cycling away from Newcastle on the Dundrum Road towards Dundrum (NI), when this idiot pulled out of a side street on my right and right in front of me. I had to brake hard otherwise I would have crashed into the side of the vehicle. I didn't see the driver, so don't know if it was a male or female, but they obviously did this intentionally, as I was wearing a high viz cycling top and they seen me approaching. In my opinion this was an intentional dangerous act of intimidation towards a cyclist. I consistently fail to understand why some drivers do this. I'm a driver too and I always give cyclists a very wide berth. Not because I'm a cyclist, but because I don't want to intimidate, kill or injure another human being. The driver of this vehicle is a c*nt.
