Speeds up behind me along Bowerham Road getting closer but I was turning left just down the road, so I indicated and applied the brake gently so I could make a smooth turn and give him plenty of notice.
But this didn’t work, he got closer and instead of adjusting his speed as I slowed down he swerved into the middle of the road to pass me as I turned left - which I had to be at my slowest.
No perception of manoeuvres or speed change needed but makes sudden adjustment at the last moment.

I noticed this driver appeared a bit dopey at junctions into Lancaster and so took down the vehicle registration number.
No indicators were used, sudden change of lanes for no reason by Skerton Bridge, and finally at the lights by the hairpin bend where traffic on Caton Road loops around, the driver went through a red light in spite of others in front in the other lane having stopped - this driver kept going.
Either this driver is a retard or someone who cannot drive properly.
