Taxi driver tailgates for half a mile when I'm doing the speed limit, flashing his headlights. Then overtakes at the earliest opportunity, making gestures out of his window.
Then he cuts into my lane several times and brake checks me on a corner.

It's not a bike lane; it's a shared use facility.
Also, why not assist the driver by helping check the road is clear?
In general I agree it's a bad design, one that practically invites risk not only to cyclists but also car drivers and pedestrians.

Aggressive driver! A lorry pulls out to allow me to come off The slip onto motorway. I pull out to allow lorry to move back into inside lane. We then come into a 50 due to road works. The idiot in the red car screams up behind me and starts flashing and showing abusive behaviour. We were in a 50 and I wanted to pull back in behind the lorry but couldn’t as he was hard up my rear! The cheeky idiot gets his mobile phone out and takes photo / video of me doing 50 in a 50!!!! I had to speed up to overtake the lorry to pull in before the cones ended the road. He then cuts me up and slows down for the cones. Idiot could have caused an accident. Also it is illegal to use a mobile phone when driving.

Fedex van doesn't indicate before turning left - luckily I wasn't following too close behind you and had time to brake
