Driving in a pedestrianised area @Portsmouth Harbour Train Station and shouting/ "signalling" for the pedestrians to get out of the way? Seems to be a contractor for the Railways, big chubby man with glasses - although they were clearly not the correct prescription. My only solace to his terrible driving is that the level of anger he expressed pedestrians for walking on the pavement implies he as a huge amount of stress in his life. Perhaps because of poor diet. Or maybe just anger at himself. Either way, I hope you find the help you desperately need. Possibly from the Highway Code.
The Transit was stationary on Kennington Road at the red lights at the junction with the A3. At that particular junction, as a driver or cyclist, your only option is to turn right onto the A3 heading south west.
I was approaching this junction on a bike as the lights went green and took the blue cycle path to swing round right with the rest of the traffic, however, the Transit pulled in front of me and deliberately turned left to head north east on the A3 and nearly ran over 3 pedestrians who were crossing from the north to the south, park side of the A3 as they should have been safely able to do.
The junction is well lit, well signed, and has been in place as a no-left-turn for years. This was a deliberate and very dangerous contravention. The Transit was aware I was there and they knew the pedestrians were there too and so there was less risk of them hitting any of us but should any have been going faster than they realised, we would have been hit.
There is a camera on top of the lights facing north up the A3, I think for bus lane contraventions, so I hope the Met will convict this driver.
Driving onto and around Crocky park estate at near motorway speeds.
