You do know that just because you have your phone between your legs on the seat & you're playing around on it that pedestrians can see you doing this as you're driving along past Sainsbury's, Lancs. Doesn't make it any less illegal.

Outside Sainsbury's, Lancs & this guy in a Skoda Fabia wildly pulls out of the left lane in to the middle lane. As he drives past I can see - right hand, phone held out clearly yapping away on speakerphone.

Close passed by HV14NUYWhen I objected to his careless driving, he stopped further along turning left into Commercial Road, Chorley and did U-turn and waited for me at the T-junction for me to continue along the A6. I believe he would have used his vehicle as a weapon and knocked me off my bike, I got off lucky by only being called a “Knob-head”.
He had time to do this, but had no time to wait and provide the necessary space to a vulnerable road user hardly the actions of a competent and careful driver!
