By now, you will probably be at work, having polished off a few more cigarettes and arrived on time to your destination. Hopefully you didn’t hit a tree on your way or worst still, kill anybody! Hopefully, you will read the below and will think a little more. Let’s be honest, your actions didn’t actually get you anywhere, any faster as we hit traffic!!
This morning whilst driving on Longcross Road towards the M25, I suddenly became aware that there was a car behind me that was quiet clearly in a hurry, pulling in behind me too quickly and having to hit his brakes. He had overtaken a couple of cars that were behind me and who knows how many more that were behind them. Now let’s bear in mind that it is a bendy road with a maximum of 60mph (in some spots) and that it was raining this morning, meaning that the road surface would have been slippery. There have been some nasty accidents on the road.
The driver then proceeded to overtake me in excess of 60mph whilst faced with a white Range Rover type car heading in the our direction. He swung back into our side of the road before he (thankfully) narrowly avoided causing an accident. I gave him a quick flash of headlights, more of a ‘come on mate, slowdown be aware flash’ and really didn’t anticipate his next actions! It has actually made my Monday laughing at how a grown man then proceeded to slam his brakes on, put his hazards on, get out and stamp and shout like a 2 year old! He must have been late 20s – early 30s. He should be thankful that no oncoming traffic took him or his driver door out! I didn’t react, I didn’t need too.
If anyone knows this guy, please pass on how moronic his driving was this morning and what an idiot he looked with his little toddler tantrum.
ive just nearly been run off the road by this driver. He clearly has no regard for other road users. After driving up to me at some significant and stupid peed he cut me up and then continued to tailgate other drivers. This happened at approx 4pm today towards Bromley Common
