flashing someone to come across the junction is all well and good, but NOT if you then put me in danger on a shared use path. I had to slam on the brakes and only just stopped going in the side of that car. Don't flash people across, let them decide.

no break lights visible. almost rear ended them when they suddenly stopped. couldn't see he was stopping

This tool realised he was in the wrong lane at the last minute and swerved right in front of me, missing me by a few inches, if that. No indication before hand and no hand gesture or hazards in apology afterwards. Only when he was in front of me did I see the "grandchildren on board" sign on the back of his car, which means he obviously wants other people to be wary of his grandchildren. Its a bit ironic as I had my 7 month old in the back of the car, not once did he consider that a possibility when he nearly wiped us out today. Absolutely unbelievable, if those are your children and this man is your dad, I hope you see this, and I hope that you don't put your children in the back of his car again. Completely reckless driving.
