This is the worst motorway hog I can remember seeing for many years, although after he turned off, we came across the second worst case within a few minutes.
We observed this selfish prat of a driver for about 30 miles on the westbound M62 motorway. At one point, I gave him a series of headlight flashes which he ignored or possibly failed to see.
We saw about 50 drivers overtake it on the inside, a manoeuver with which I would not normally sympathise. This and some bunching compromised our safety, although for most of the time, we followed in the second or first lane leaving about 10 car lengths gap.
His speed was generally between 65 and 75 m.p.h. As this stretch of road has numerous camera "stripes", he frequently hit his brakes, even though he was often travelling at only 70 or 71 on approach, slowing down to about 68 or 69.
The Highway Code states:
When driving along a three-lane motorway, rule 264 of the Highway Code states: “You should always drive in the left-hand lane when the road ahead is clear. If you are overtaking a number of slow-moving vehicles, you should return to the left-hand lane as soon as you are safely past.”
This driver drives way too fast (even in the rain) takes up space of opposite side of road, drives too close to other drivers, especially oncoming traffic on opposite side. Driver drove so fast that I couldnt tell if it was a male or female driver.
came speeding into a housing estate, nearly lost control as a car was leaving the housing estate. Then continued to speed into the estate making a lot of noise. As he was leaving he nearly went into me as i crossed the road with my dog then continued to laugh and shout abuse at me as he drove off. Dangerous Young lad with no consideration for anyone else but himself.
Stupid bint driving for 20 minutes while using her mother phone on the M40 Between junction 11-9 on the M40 on the 4th October between 18:40-19:00. She then came off the M40 onto the A34 towards oxford drifting into the inside lane on a number of occasions not keeping up with the car in front. After a couple of flashes she moved over. MOT expired 3 weeks ago. Ban her
This is a driver who regularly drives under the influence of alcohol to the point where he can hardly walk in a straight line when he gets out of the car.
I have also witnessed him hitting a parked car and then driving off, I gave his registration to the owner of the car he hit and apparently he said to his insurance that the other car hit him!
Definitely an alcoholic!!!
