Raid rage incident Kent 9:45am - 5/9/17
Right at beginning of slip road towards Capel, driver joined slip road travelling slowly at around 45mph, I was doing 70mph, normally I wouldn't overtake but due to this speed difference and the fact he was in the left hand lane of the slip road, felt this would be a very safe overtake, I've started to overtake him in the right hand lane, he then begins to accelerate squeezing me, forcing me over the solid white line, if I had used my brakes at any point it would have caused an accident, as I was already alongside him and as there is loose surface past the solid white line.
Thought that was close, but thought maybe he just didn't see me. I was clearly wrong, I've taken the left turn towards Capel. Then left, heading towards cliff top cafe, he continued onwards didn't follow me at this point.
I've parked in the lay-by just before cliff top cafe entrance and turned engine off to check my phone, as I could hear notifications coming through.
Couple of minutes pass and I see him approaching, from the other direction, meaning he has turned off further along looking for me, it becomes very clear he is not happy as he begins pointing at me and using hand gestures while trying to shout at me through his window, I'm not looking for conflict, and having thought he had, had his fill. decided to drive on ,as he's not blocking the road, I took the right turn outside clifftop cafe.
This clearly made him a lot angrier, he's aggressively reversed around and follows me, tailgating, weaving side to side behind me trying to make his car look as big as possible but the real intention for it becomes clear later, I decide to stay within the 20mph zone, at the junction because I really felt this man was going to drive into me or cause a crash and a crash at 20mph would be a lot less damaging than at 40mph, which is the speed limit if I had taken a Left or right turn at this point. So I go straight across at the junction, he follows me again very closely, I take the left at the end, he follows to the left and then drives up onto pavement to overtake me, with a 20mph zone, in a pedestrian area!
He then blocked the road with his car and proceeds to get out hurling abuse at me, I remained in my car, turned the engine off as I believed it would be safer and put my window down as I felt he would try to break it if I didn't.
I tell him I don't want conflict,
He then tries justify what he is doing by asking me if I had seen the signs saying it would go down to one lane on the A20, I told him it was further along the A20 not coming off the slip road, he disagrees although it did not go down to one lane on the slip-road. Being someone who regularly drives on the A20 I know where it goes to one lane.
He continues to hurl abuse, accusing me of driving dangerously and saying I am the reason people get killed, I say okay as I thought this is the least aggressive response I can give, but he really wasn't happy with me saying that. He continues to shout at me calling me everything under the sun, going back and forth between me and his car before, he then gets in his car and drives off.
I think this guy is blind, he just steers to the left without even looking, nearly crashed into me. Luckily I took a picture of his plate. I have already contacted the police and they haven't said anything yet. He drives a Mercedes thinking no one else is on the road. Just a reckless driver
Tailgating middle aged arsewipe, sits right behind you looking grumpy (probably because his misses is a troll) then undertakes and shows down in front of you. There's a word to describe people like this, begins with C and rhymes with stunt.
EJ07RWN - Large 4x4 parks on the double yellow lines, blocks junction opposite and the road view in all directions all because she wants a quick Tesco shop and cannot be bothered to park in a proper car park 20 metres away, Selfish, oblivious and unaware.
Absolute total knob jockey decided she would try and take my space while I was reversing into it. Silly old bimbo then launched off on a verbal, not my problem she's still scarred from the effects of living through 2 world wars
