I think you know what the motorist is trying to say and he admitted fault, we aren't all perfect all the time. Plus you know how bloody distracting fog lights and bright rear light are. He then obviously got a bit carried away trying to justify his mistake. No biggie and could have been a lot worse.
What the hell is this driver on, Its daytime and you have a flashing red light on the rear of your bike, All the way up until the point where he bumped you he managed to see you alright and kept a safe distance so whats his excuse, I could not see you as the light was so bright! lol, Maybe if you had a camera on the rear of your helmet we may have seen on a mobile perhaps or doing something else that took his eyes off the road for that split second, Still LMAO as to his lame and pathetic excuse, Merry christmas and a happy 2017
The first thing he comes out with is a comment about cyclists not paying road tax which is very revealing and makes me believe he didn't give the cyclist space on purpose, because he simply doesn't like cyclists.
