KX55 UWLa very fast cyclist is annoyed at your ignorance2020-05-01 17:15:01
well, i think the video will explain it, but here we go. Canford magna road is a SHARED USE pavement, meaning if i cycle on it, I have to slow down, cross about 7 junctions, go the wrong way, go into a subway filled with glass and ride along a very bumpy surface. It isnt useable, thats why i ignore it until the section you saw me use after beeping. It gets wider there, and i use that bit, because my experience tells me its best to. If i were cycling at 5 mph, your anger would be almost understandable. In this case, it isnt. You just cant drive very well. I would like to ask you to post back here saying sorry and thank me for keeping you safe. I do hope i dont get called out to assist you. As stated in the video, i am a paramedic at poole hospital - I was going home to wimborne and that route is quickest for me. Now say sorry and watch the whole video. Don't you dare beep at cyclists for ignoring such a terrible design. You don't want us to cycle on the pavements, but here, you DO want us to cycle on the pavement, because the council stuck a sign on it saying we can. Go back to that route yourself on a bicycle, and try to hold my speed over that section. You wont top mine. I hit 34 mph there. I also own three motorbikes so i've paid to use the road with emission creating vehicles, passed my hgv test and advanced motorists tests. So yes. Say sorry. I am sending this to the daily echo, who already published three of my videos, to road cc and a few other dashcam channels. Remember, almost every cyclist has cameras now. Behave, its a public road, not a racetrack just for you.
the driver of this wagon is clearly texting whilst inching along, full laden with cars on board. Camera doesnt pick it up but i could see him tapping away on it. poole, 755am.
