Slow down before you maim kill someone. Just because you're in the driver's seat it doesn't mean you can barrel down the road thraiping the hell out that noisy engine. You also need to pay attention when approaching the brow of a hill with a narrowing..that means slowing down and driving sensibly, not braking when it's too late. You need to read the road and drive accordingly.

Heavy traffic and everyone else has to be patient but not the driver of the STS van. He drives up the outside and then cuts in to aoid queueing like everyone else.

I see this too. The driver does not deserve to have a licence. He is local and I have witnessed him doing exactly the same in his lil boy racer car that looks like it should never be fit to be on the roads.
