You have to giveaway to those already on the motorway. If he sees you coming on he might have thought to put his foot down let you behind him at this time you've also decided to put your foot down to try get in front which comes to this situation but unfortunately he has right of way so you either break and go behind him or continue to speed up and try get in front. Just let things like this go its not worth it.

I’ve just been driving through Swindon in my Type R when I noticed an absolute bell piece of a old man out in the snow and ice in his E class taxi. He was skidding around the place in b&q car park. He must be bored waiting for his next taxi customer. Anytime he wants to race a real car. He can come race my v tec ripper.
