Wednesday 14th March 2018 - between approx. 4:30 and 5pm. The driver of a black Toyota Yaris, registration NA11 EER, deliberately sped up and blocked the roundabout coming from Gosforth Park. I wanted to go straight on and really should have had more than enough room to get through but they drove forwards and instead of pulling forwards that little bit more, they left a large gap and sat in front of the giveway line. This not only blocked my lane but also the lane to my right as well. Leaving a decent gap in front of you is sensible, especially in heavy traffic but not if you're going to block someone else's path - use your common sense! A couple of people beeped their horn and they eventually moved forward - only for someone else to speed up and do exactly the same thing - a maroon Peugeot 3008, registration NJ67 0ZD! You really can't make this stuff up!!!
The guy was texting whilst driving on the St Cross Road in Winchester, drifting to the left, hitting the curb each time (21/03/18 @ 9am). A lot of kids walk to school down that side. Hopefully this guy can read this and eventually correct his own behaviour before he injures / kills someone.
I was travelling behind a young female driver in a white/off-white Vauxhall Corsa NJ61 YKO this morning at around 8.45am. She kept putting her foot down, getting right up the bumper of the people in front of her then slamming her brakes on, backing off and repeating it. She then decided to fling her cigarette out of the window as she was in a 50 zone, swerving and braking as she clearly couldn't fully control the car as her arm was out of the window! She then nearly went into the back of someone at the roundabout, almost stalled again as she tried to pull away when it was eventually clear. As we then approached and entered the 30 zone leading to Quorum Business Park in Benton, again she kept putting her foot down then braking suddenly. We sat in traffic on this stretch of road for a few minutes and she constantly checked something in her lap, presumably a mobile phone and barely kept her eyes on the road. Unfortunately the dashcam didn't pick it up but it was obvious what she was doing. Very careless driving.
Ok please share far and wide people. It doesn't matter where you live. This is as important to people in the midlands as it is in Cornwall.
As some of you know yesterday the Gunnislake community on the Devon Cornwall border came together to help bring about the arrest of these two Eastern European gentlemen who were basically taking scrap without asking the owners.
Unsurprisingly they are denying most of the thefts and have been released pending investigation.
Now the police did tell me that they would be extremely stupid to re offend whilst investigations are pending because they would be much more likely to be remanded.
However stupid is all around us. I very much suspect they will start again. Either in Cornwall or elsewhere.
Police tell me that they are from the West Midlands area. The van was apparently fully road legal.
They may change the van. But their appearance will remain similar.
I've attached some photos below that I've dragged off a couple of other posts.
Please if anyone sees them, pay attention to them without attracting attention to yourself.
If they are committing crime try and record it even with photos.
AND REPORT IT TO THE POLICE!!!! Don't put the photos on fb without calling it in.
Cctv is brilliant if it's available. The police assure me that it's very useful. They have some cctv footage of them stealing and it's undeniable.
Parks in stupid places where emergency services should be then threatens and abuses people who park in the same area. Very angry and aggressive person.
Parked in my allocated parking space (Thornaby). I pay for this space as it is included in my rent. Not happy! Go use visitors parking like a normal person!
