One, you’re too close to the junction and two, what have you achieved by parking on the footpath? Hopefully you have knocked out your tracking and/or damaged your tyre wall, especially if this is a habit that you constantly repeat.
This guy was having a laugh this morning on the M25, were all on a variable speed limit - guy tries to push through by changing lane every 30 seconds. drives in middle of two lanes trying to see how he can push thru. absolute waste man. prob gets free car.

Not entirely sure what the rush was, but treating a public road like a personal runway isn’t a great look. Bit less Fast & Furious, bit more basic self-preservation wouldn’t go amiss.

Driving on the M3 today behind a Tesla driver who seemed determined to control the pace of everyone else on the road.
Holding up traffic for no clear reason, including a motorcycle. When the rider eventually overtook, the Tesla then indicated as if to move into the bike’s lane, which felt less like driving and more like a deliberate bit of intimidation.
Cars are clever these days, but they still rely on the person behind the wheel having a bit of judgement.
