I'm driving in the 3rd lane, the 2nd and 3rd lanes are merging. I'm about to go into a gap of two cars thats quite large. This car was the one behind and he decides to speed right up quickly closing the gap as the lanes are about to merge leaving me nowhere to go. He tailgates the driver in front and I'm now having to drive off the road, he continues to drive next to my car speed matching and looking at me. Then afterwards gives abuse out the window, if you read this sadly cars cant fly yet so you might want to learn how merging works

As stated in my comment, I was trying to get out of my lane for sometime using my indicators and I did slow down but I still didn't fancy driving my car through the lake as I probably would have killed the car and possibly myself. As its a motorway slowing down too much would be dangerous IMO. as I started to move over to her lane, she sped up meaning I had no choice but to then straddle both lanes.
