Overtook me on the road into the city centre of Sheffield and narrowly missed a pothole that would of ripped his whole wheel off and damaged it badly

Driving very erratically, weaving all over the road and changing lanes without indicating. Then did a u turn over the central reservation on a dual carriageway.
Probably drunk.

Drove excessively fast down tight street when it was not his right of way and hit my wingmirror. The casing came off in two halves. Driver drove off managed to catch up and get the number plate. Managed to pull him aside. I asked him where he’d come from as he was a taxi driver and he named the exact street the incident happened however was adamant he hadn’t hit my car. It was at 9:50pm roughly and we were the only 2 cars on that road because no more than one car can drive up that road at a time.
