I would suggest further driver training lessons if your ability to park is any reflection on your driving skills as a whole. That was a painfully bad display of not only car control (basic understanding of what way to move the steering wheel) but also spacial awareness. You have no business being behind the wheel of a car, especially with children in the back, while evidently lacking the basic skills of parking a car in a very easy spot.
