Pedestrian crossings are supposed to be safe zones that allow pedestrians to safely cross a roadway. In this case, a Pelican crossing.
You have no right to block them by park on the pavement.
You are causing a risk to pedestrians trying to use the crossing.
Just because you want to enter a shop does not mean you can just park anywhere you like - use the proper parking spaces provided.
This is NOT a parking space! People are being put at grave risk thanks to your actions. Park in the spaces provided - do not block the crossing for pedestrians.
Great Bridge also has a big problem with morons speeding along the road, not just cars but also motorbikes. Several occasions pedestrians - including disabled people - have had to try and run for their life as you have these speeding idiots using this road as their personal drag-strip. When they run across they have nowhere to go thanks to the people who are blocking the crossing. Why the council allows this is beyond me. Many residents are fed up of it.
Cars are being parked one the left-hand-side of the crossing in the Google image.
Very nice, let me pull out, and in again, several times.
