Multiple people have said to me they live or work near or not too far from one of these so-called "test" sites, and that most of the time they are almost empty. The mainstream media turns up and suddenly things are much busier.
He doesn't have to leave a public place (or private facility with public access).
He is performing a lawful activity.
They approached him, and got in his face. They apparently struck him, causing him to feel that violence was imminent.
If they don't like people filming in public they shouldn't be out in public. Simple.
The officer's knowledge of GDPR appears to be dire. The operatives may well be in a publicly-accesible place; however, the GDPR law does not apply equally. Saying "anyone can film" in relation to GDPR law is it appears a misappropriation of said law. Naughty.
