Seems to me the driver was simply not looking. They weren't speeding, had a clear view of the pedestrians as they started to cross and could easily have stopped, as they should have. Instead, the pedestrians are halfway over as the driver cuts across them and even then makes no attempt to brake. Oblivious, irresponsible and very dangerous driver. I would be even angrier if that had been my wife and kids on the crossing.
I will think twice when ever i cross the road now as zebra crossings, green men and being in the right won't mean anything if i'm dead or injured. Those mothers and kids are so lucky. Is there anything the police can do as no accident has actually happened?
Checking their email or texts on their phone would be my guess, see it every single day. I only have to look in my rearview mirror in stop start traffic to see drivers behind have their eyes cast down to where their phones are.
I'm going to show this video to my children so they understand the need to look look and look again at any crossing even if the green man is flashing his head off.
Slow down. Create more distance between yourself and other road users - including on the roundabout. When they were in front after the roundabout they immediately changed lanes when safe and so as not to impede your path. You then bolted like a horse out of a box..where's the fire? Think of how it looks from their point of view: some impatient so-and-so literally climbing up your arse..
Thinks he is a good driver but he definitely is not.can't do simple tasks such as,putting the correct postcode in sat nav ,arriving on time and strapping down loads.
This driver is very dangerous and has stupid headlights that are blinding, he has also been spotted picking up young girls with harribo's out side of schools.
