If there is one type of person who always fits a stereotype it has to be scaffolder's. I am yet to find a considerate or intelligent scaffolder. It's fair to say that scaffolders along with drivers of skip trucks, are the worst drivers out on the road.
Quite an amusing exchange with the company via e-mail. The same company who thought it was all right to claim that the driver's actions were in some way justifiable or even understandable since I 'crossed his path'. They claimed that the police had rejected my allegations. They apparently weren't aware that the police had demanded that the driver go on a course as his actions were 'blameworthy'. Now they're shrieking that I am 'harrassing' them and threatening to report me. Hahahaha!!!!
Driver is the only one at fault...and I agree he should lose his license. That said, the kid crossed before the light went green for him. It is pretty obvious considering that all the other pedestrians and the bikers were not crossing for a while after he did...and a few seconds later, all of them start crossing at the exact same time (green light?)
Writing on behalf of my elderly grandmother;
Today you almost crashed into my car while rushing the junction in Grenoside as I was on my way to the crematorium with my friend. Swerving up the steep hill far too fast afterwards. Please slow down and be careful on the roads!

We all need to learn the "Dutch Reach". It's common sense. We as car drivers should be aware of vulnerable road users. Be they annoying "MAMILs" or young kid on their first bike.
