black / dark blue VW Jetta 2.0TDI. Cut me up swerving past on the inside lane of a dual carriageway then tried to brake check me even though I wasnt very close behind him. Then wound his window down and threw a carton of juice at me to try and get it through my window whilst he was shouting abuse at me for "tailgating" which I definately was not doing (I hate tailgaters!!). As he drove off he deliberately swerved in to me to threaten and intimidate me twice so when I ended up next to him at the next set of lights I asked him if he was trying to scare me and told him to F*** off so he shouted more abuse at me and tried to swerve in to me and brake check me again. A dangerous nutter if ever there was one. If you are reading this mate, you need to get some anger management counselling and some driving lessons!!!!! PS I videoed it all on my dashcam and will be posting it on youtube and will be sending the link to the local Police :-)
This HGV driver tail-gated us down the A47, did the accelerate up to us and 'lurched' his vehicle towards us. Very intimidating and very dangerous. Obviously thinks he is brave and clever to be able to use a 38 ton vehicle to intimidate other road uses.
Vehicle is owned by a company Benhaul (immingham) Limited up near Grimsby.
I know the uphill bit of Claypit Lane in Leeds is a hotbed for tailgaters who all feel they require a tow rope to get up it but you, my friend, are taking the piss. Mercedes Sprinter vs. Honda Jazz, who do you think is going to come out the worse if the Jazz - which is not even half a second in front - has to brake? As soon as this Direct Doors van got onto the A58(M), the driver spent no time in moving into the outside lane and breezing past the Jazz. Pardon my ignorance, but what are you delivering at 6:45am that requires driving like that?
The driver also doesn't realise his speed limit on a single carriageway is 50. Perhaps that's why (s)he overtook another van on Swindon Lane 20 minutes beforehand which was actually doing the speed limit.
