This woman drives like a nutter, appears up my rear end out of nowhere, overtakes and floors it on a 30 road, turns off at last second to avoid red lights, then tailgates another car before overtaking on a windy road.

Shocking aggressive driving yesterday afternoon in Donnington Telford.
The lorry was behind me , tailgating , and then came even nearer , so I could literally just see the front bumper and grill of it , filling my rear view mirror.
It was terrifying.

Ownership of a car and tax is irrelevant. Car tax doesn't pay for roads - almost everyone pays including cyclists, through local and national taxation. So you are actually paying a disproportionate amount because almost all road damage comes from vehicles. "Road Tax" does not exist.
What's most important is that you have -as you correctly state - as much right to be on the road. If the driver doesn't want to share the road - as required - then they are the problem, not cyclists, not other drivers. Them. They agreed to share the road as a condition of the license. Solution for them: grow a pair and walk..before you kill.

Bald headed bloke .Drives like a right @@@@ undertook me at 80mph and pulled straight in front of my car with my kids in and braked hard causing me to take avoiding action by weeving into middle lane.Then he pulled in front of me and did it again.
I dropped back to 50 mph so the nutter continued on by tailgating another motorist.
