Could not agree more. Seems more like driving in a third world country in the once glorious streets of ruined blighty these days

The standards do seem lower and I agree if you live in an area where people have moved from very very different driving conditions (and much higher road fatality rates etc) across the globe, it begins to make a big difference in what to expect when driving now in UK. In many countries cars jostle for space quite aggressive!y etc and sometimes to experience that first hand here in UK to me demonstrates the need to assess drivers' road worthiness to a British standard before they are allowed on the roads and regardless of paperwork.
And no, we are not xenophobic, just frustrated at the government for not addressing the obvious need to amend driving restrictions inline with such mass immigration, which asvwith any large scale change, seems to be making a huge difference to the standards of British driving in some areas.

Van driver clearly in the wrong but it did seem like the car driver was putting himself, his girlfriend and other road users in danger by chasing after the van. I understand the need to get his registration number but there was every chance that it could have made things so much worse with some of the risks taken to keep after him. Shock, anger, red mist, we've all been there and I probably would have had the same reaction, but still.

I'm saying the safety of myself and my passengers comes first. It's on camera. Let the police and the insurance deal with it. Some people in that region are just bonkers.. you don't want to take the risk.

Right ok. So you let the van get away after a hit and run? I'd say chasing him was right

The reaction time of camera car driver, very poor.

Accident could have been avoided on this occasion.

The driver wouldn't have needed to react had the van driver followed the rules of the road. The accident was fully the fault of the van driver, right of way is paramount and he didn't have it.
