Have you had a dropped kerb put in as there isn't one on google maps? If not, the driver is perfectly within his rights to park there as it is not classed as a driveway. Your neighbour, on the other hand, who does have a dropped kerb could complain that someone is parked in front of their driveway.
Regular occurrence? Have you spoken to them or left a polite note under wiper? Are they there all day? Consider investing in a "No parking ,access required" vinyl poster next to gate. Always persue all amicable avenues first if possible 😊
Lewis is right. Whilst parking like this is often considered inconsiderate there is nothing anyone can do unless they are blocking a car in and/or causing an obstruction. This is not to say I condone such parking.
Just back from digging deeper. The wording of the highway code is simple. If it states "Do Not" then it is advisory and there are no legal repercussions for ignoring this. If it states "Must Not" then there are legal repercussions from it. Rule 243 states "Do Not" so again it is not illegal to park in front of someone's driveway UNLESS there is a car on it.
Stanley Smith, I take it your the owner or closely related to the owner of this vehicle. Be honest, you made yourself look like a complete prat, not just because of how poorly you parked and been caught out for it, but how much of dick you come off by replying to these post and getting your friends to vote thumbs up to make you or the vehicle owner look like they are the better driver.
You'll find you won't have enough friends to help you with your post votings on this site. Once it hits the internet and then show up on this site it will be the first thing people will see for at least 24-48 hours and there more than 1000 people that visit that site everyday.
You should of either just kept your mouth shut or maybe took this opportunity to use the group or website to publicly apologize for parking like an silly person, you would've been seen less for doing that.
Taking responsibility doesn't make you a dick, acting like you are makes you a dick.
WTF? How stupid do you have to be to blame HER for posting it? Its none of your bloody business if they use their drive for a car, its their land you muppet.
Stupid Bitch. Really looks like you use your driveway for a car. it's full of CRAP. And now the owners know who posted it. your not very bright are you Sharon.
