Why not simply use your brakes? Not just this instance but afterl, when the other cylist was to your right and a bit too close for comfort?

- Cunt likes cutting off cyclists
- Parks on bicycle lanes
- Assults cyclists
- Cares more about his precious car than fellow road users

Driver was in the wrong to start with with but then as usual instead of pulling up and having a word the cyclist decides to damage the car and ride off instead.

Nice to see the cyclists who give people the "wanks" and damage peoples carsall cower and complain when their actions have consequences.

I reckon next time i get greif from a cyclist i'm going to give them a bashing if the worst i can expect is some high pitched whinging .

Why don't you stop moaning and get out more? Try a bike you might even like it as long as you don't come across someone like yourself lol (oh we can't be having that can we, after all that would be letting the side down).

Firstly what damage are you alleging was done to the car? Secondly, if you get too close to a cyclists that they can touch your car, then you have no complaint when they tap it as a means of making you fucking aware of their presence.
Thirdly, if I complain to you and you use violence on me, I will retaliate accordingly and you will probably not like the result. Iv'e done it before, not to against irate, selfish, idiotic drivers but also cyclists. I don't discriminate as regards who I defend myself against when they try to assault me.
Finally, after you're on the ground lying in a pool of your own blood possibly, I'll be the one with witnesses and as well as a phone with which I'll be calling the police. Following this, I will seek to sue you in a court publicly and/or privately. Note: none of this is meant as a threat; rather, a safety precaution against people just like you, should you follow through on YOUR threat.. if you hate cyclists then that's your problem and you have no right to take it out on others especially behind the wheel of a killing machine. Beyond this point I don't give a fuck for your opinions. Have a nice day.

It's up to the law and courts to defend the victim.
This driver needs to lose the ability to drive until he's passed an extended driving test + convicted of assault + pay damages/compensation
Without this he, and similar road users, will deem this to be acceptable

@Actually

"The driver has priority being ahead"
"of a car signalling left well before you started to undertake it"

He was signaling left to go park on the bicycle lane? 😲

"Unreasonable behaviour breeds unreasonable behaviour"

Exactly

1. Unreasonable behaviour breeds unreasonable behaviour.
- That doesn't absolve the driver.

2. Violence is never the answer.
- Sometimes you don't have a choice such as when you can't talk your way out or a fight or escape. Hence the laws on self-dense.

3. Comment above about '..letting driver in' has the situation about face. The driver has priority being ahead. Cyclist should have given way by overtaking.
So if you're on the slow lane of a motorway and someone gets ahead, they have automatic right to barge in front? The lane was already occupied and the driver cut the cyclist up.

4. Driver gave way to you. You were at risk of being crushed under the wheels of a car signalling left well before you started to undertake it.
- Signals are only a declaration of intent; not automatic right to cut people up. I don't see the driver giving way; if they had they've have waited until the cyclist went past.

5. Why would you as a Cyclist having only lycra to protect your flesh & bone want to prove you have 'Right of way?'
- It's not a matter of who has the biggest balls (as in who has the most armour. It's a matter of rights vs wrongs.

6. By continually undertaking Darwinism will win in the end.
- Loaded statement.

As it stands, I would have waved the driver in IF it was safe and practical to do so. The roads are shit and everyone suffers so give and take, help each other out. None of this excuses the driver's assault.

Although I agree with most of what's been said about the cyclists riding this does not deflect and give reason to physically assault someone.

I would advise not running up the inside of buses like that.. someone could be crossing. Also, why not wait and let the driver in? He was indicating for a while before he turned - not that I am justifying his turn, or his subsequent assault. And yes, if you are at risk then tap a car by all means. Some drivers don't understand this and all they care about is their precious, mass-manufactured box taking no damage. The roads in this country are fucking chaos at times, it's such a stupid, over-crowded place with such a stupid road design that basically treats ALL commuters like shit. No wonder people are put off cycling.. we're so far behind other countries.
