Just to point out, there's an entity on You Tube by the name of 'sean sean' who seems to take great pleasure trolling cycling videos. There is no shortage of legitimate YT users getting pissed off with their "input", shall we say. Basically they try to find any avenue to have a go, and its clear from their text that deep down inside the problem isn't cyclists it's them, and their personal hatred/vendetta whatever you want to call it. I suggest be on your guard. Please note: I am not out to deny criticism or free speach, but I'm sick to the fucking back teeth of these trolls trying to ruin things for everyone else. Sean Sean.. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find you loitering here, either in your primary role or that of one of many, many sock puppets. I basically think you need to get a life and focus on your OWN problems with this world before you start to lecture others. I know several users who've had enough of your antics and the list is growing..please just stop this pestering. Cyclists as well as other road users don't need your shit..

Here's one of several attempts by said entity to try and troll the video, and I quote:
"nothing happens, other than the idiot on the cycle fails to signal and moves into the van that up till that point was safely and reasonable overtaking the cyclist."
See the false logic here? The van over-takes on an incline, right on the approach to a junction. Whether or not the cyclist was indicating is irrelevant and it's not the cyclist's fault or responsibility that the person in the van chose to do what they did. If sean sean over-took someone on the approach to a junction on a driving test - regardless of the type of carriage - what's the betting they'd fail? I've read their other comments about cyclists on countless other video's and it doesn't take long to see they have some kind of vendetta based on personal hatred, to the point where they will repeatedly argue the most inane of points just to satisfy the ego between their ears..is it really any surprise to see a growing number of YT users simply blocking their tripe? I don't think it is; I think it's only logical not to want to see it. That is my opinion on people like this, they willfully seek to ruin the good work others do and do not like being schooled on their error. Please do not let them spoil your enjoyment.

Hmm, mixed feelings about this one. I agree about the initial over-taking as well as that utter shite over-take at 3:42, the latter of which appeared a deliberate attempt at using their vehicle as a weapon. However I think the cyclist did themself no favors by being verbally aggressive. You've got to take the moral high ground, even if it seems counter intuitive. A firm but fair approach from the start is required if you have any hope of suitable redress. Pre-empting insutls is to argue with a fool; you'll only come down to their level and that is exactly what they want. Furthermore on a bike you'll also risk being knocked off or assaulted. If it ever goes to court you'll want all the ammunition you've got but by reeling off insults you're practically giving that ammunition away. I hope the rider (and all road users) can see where I'm coming from. What the van driver did would piss me off but experience has told me that going in with guns blazing almost always has only one outcome: war. Only wage or if you have no other choice.
