So that gives it the right to completely block a pavement which isn't part of their land? It's technically an obstruction and could be removed by the police if they actually bothered. Cyclists have every right to an opinion, and your 'opinion' is incorrect. You're the idiot, in my opinion.
Could you please stop dumping your car on the pavement? They were designed for people, not cars. Not only is it inconsiderate, it damages the pavement because they're not.made with cars in mind.
Sam, for your information, I pay council tax and VAT which both go towards the roads. I really can't be bothered discussing 'road' tax with you. Go to ipayroadtax.com to learn more. Most cyclists own cars and pay this 'road' tax so your information is incorrect. VED is based on emissions and cyclists like pedestrians, horses and electric cars, do NOT emit emissions so we're in band A which is £0 a year.
Well I really hope a wheelchair comes through and puts a nice long scrape down the side. It might teach them that roads are for cars (that's what I get told by drivers whilst I'm cycling) and pavements are for people. It's very inconsiderate and arrogant (just another BMW driver). "Oh look at me, I'm above everyone else and I don't want my car scratching." Well I really look forward to a buggy/wheelchair having a go at fitting through the left and scraping the car. It stands out on a black car too.
