Remember the days when black cab drivers were considered the knights of the road. I know how frustrating it must be at times driving in and around London, but as the Yanks say "suck it in". Very foolish behavior by that cabby.

Good result in the end but perhaps should have been charged with assault. He knew the cyclist was there, twice tried to have him off, succeeding on the second attempt, stopping for no reason with a clear road in front of him, boxing the cyclist in and using the door mirror to 'hook' him off.
Definitely intentional, more than just careless driving, although that is easier to prove at court.
Hope he gets stuffed by his insurance company.
