p.s. There is no justification for causing fear of violence by virtue of aiming an unknown liquid in someone's face on account of METRO reportedly referring to said act as a "hot new trend"? It's almost as if METRO is encouraging acid attacks? Same for saying SPITTING in food items bought by the general public might be "more political than you think", or saying parents should buy children sex toys. ALL of this appeared in METRO and if anyone here wants screen dumps, please say so and I give my word they'll be provided.
Just to clarify. METRO operatives referred to the throwing of unknown substances (at the material time) in people's face as a quote "hot new trend". And as we know there are LOTS of incidents of unprovoked attacks with acid. Indeed, post the attack METRO referred to - which only later was established contained milkshake - there were actually calls on social media wishing it was acid. Irresponsible journalism but hey, METRO saw a political opponent, right? !
There's criminals in every country, including the UK -the acide throwing capital of Europe and no doub t thanks to the likes of METRO operatives for referring to said as a "hot new trend". Many Australians would not condone this driver's actions.
