How was he right? I was in the middle of the lane all the way up that hill and around the corner. At no point did I move across in front of him. The only movements I made were for the clearly visible and slippery manhole covers and when I had to concentrate on him being too close behind me.
He managed to tailgate, use his horn in an aggressive manner, cross the chevrons on to the wrong side of the road, overtake on a blind corner, drive dangerously across the road, block the whole road for several minutes, and talk utter rubbish. What he did say was either incorrect, as clearly shown in the video, or just nonsense. Including the bit about telling off a cyclist/taxi driver. I was actually chatting to the driver of the taxi.
This drivers attitude was arrogant and aggressive. His driving was poor and dangerous.
What do suggest I say to him? His argument made no sense and his claim that I moved across on him was untrue. The best thing to do when confronted with such illogical ranting is to calmly let him know that he is on camera and can view the video later. I did ask him what the rules were but, for some reason, he chose not to let me know. He wasn't even kind enough to tell me where I can find them for myself. Judging by his driving I imagine the rules have something to do with just getting out of his way and very little else.
I would suggest that if you think his driving was ok you should either take a driver awareness course or simply give up your licence.
