Had a bald middle aged gentleman shout garbled abuse at me whilst overtaking. Later caught up with him in traffic and politely asked for him to repeat more clearly. I was then told that the basis of this abuse is that the pavement (which he pays for through his council tax) is for cyclists and not the road. Initial encounter took place at approximately the junction of Liebenrood and Bath Roads in Reading at 1730ish in light traffic conditions.
