£200 fine + 6 points

Between 2013 and 2015, on average 24 people per year were killed in road traffic collisions where the driver of the vehicle was using their mobile phone

The police believe that the true number of incidents caused by mobile phone use could be much higher than recorded.

I'm guessing if someone you knew was killed or severely injured by someone driving and using their mobile you might think twice - do you really want to lose someone before the message gets sunk in?

It's not difficult to understand or fix - get a handsfree kit and put your mobile out of arms reach before you kill an innocent person
