Evening hours of 18th of March 2018 in Coventry...I was driving along the A444 towards the city center. After the round about and a set of traffic lights, the BMW driver started
aggressively tailgate and flash high beam at the VW polo driver in order to force the polo to change the lane he was in....later he caused danger to other drivers by hi reckless and careless driving ignoring other road users....

Sad but quite truthful, in my opinion. It's also the reason many people are put off cycling.. the police can talk all they want about catching people; the truth is they don't, whether someone is on foot, on a bike (yes that includes you scum on bikes), or in a car. Anything goes unless you are seriously injured or killed. Why do people think cams are so popular? The public are effectively policing themselves.
I don't want big brother. I just want a return the old days where local police a) were the eyes and ears of their community, and b) gave enough of a shit to prosecute pricks who drive as shown.

Pointless exercise with most police forces - nothing will be done until it's too late and somebody is killed or injured.
And then the driver will say they need the licence to earn a living a provide for their family.
