Yesterday at around 11:15 a white lorry travelling along Ashridge lane refused to stop or slow down for my dad and I who were on our horses, the driver continued towards us, even though both horses were spooked by the lorry. My horse backed herself up into the hedge, freaking herself out. I tried to hold her, but the lorry kept advancing. I turned my horse, and she took off with me, she bucked and reaered and I came off in the middle of the road. My horse galloped away. Lying in the road I couldn't move, the lorry had stopped moving but his engine was still running. My dad was still trying to hold his horse and yelling at the driver to help me, he didn't. He drove off and left me in the road. I couldn't get up, I had to crawl to Ley Hill golf club for help. Heather was amazing, and the golfers too. They got the ambulance, police, and helped my dad catch my horse. After a CT scan, the doctor confirmed I have fractured two vertebrae in my back. The pain is agonizing. I've had to move into my parents house as I can't move. Please, please if you see a white lorry number plate that was something like SV15 MVK please contact the police. Thank you x

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think the MOT details don't have to be held on new vehicles until they are at least 3 years old. Also, Rose, you take care. I hope you make a speedy recovery and get back on your horse xxx
