In my eyes you're both to blame as much as each other. He was close, you were accelerating and moved out as the car went past. In a split second it would be easy for the driver to underestimate your accelerating speed as the road narrowed. I know you were going around another bike but you surely didn't think cars weren't going to be going to overtake.
