WV52 BHF 2019-07-04 16:01:38

Driving stop/start through Banwell in heavy traffic East bound at app 15:20 4th July 2019.
This car was in front of me, with three car spaces between him and the next car, causing the junction to be blocked as other cars could not move forward. I flashed my lights and moved my hand to wave him forward, which he refused to do until he reached the entrance/exit of the car park opposite the schools which he then blocked by pulling forward.
He continued in ghis fashion u til reaching the Sandford/Wins combe junction, then accelerated quickly up Castle Hill. On reaching the 50 mph. zone he again accelerated, then began tapping his brakes all the way through 50/60 mph zones until he was at a speed of 20mph. By this time there was no one else in front. I would havd liked to comment on his driving as he seemed to be going the same way as men do I followed, in case he did it to anyone else. He then turned left on Brown's Corner, then I media felt right without signalling. He then swerved into the car park on the rights no indicator, throw I g up gravel and accelerated again right down the lanes without heed for pedestrians. He repeated this, all without indicating, while I waited to get acknowledgement from other drivers and thanked them. After his 2nd skid through the car par,, he pushed his was through traffic coming from the right on Sandford road, and a lorry comi g from the left by co-op,. He then accelerated back down towards Banwell, down castle hill without stopping, and swerved right into the junction heading towards Sandford. He had to negotiate a car by going around it to achieve this safely. He continued along until the road works and could be seen gesticulating and tal,ing to one of his passengers in the back whom for the first time, turned and looked at me then away. The driver pulled away then began tapping on his brakes again. It was at this point that I thought it too dangerous to follow him, even if he had stopped for me. He continued nom and I turned right at the church and back to Wins combe.
This driver's actions caused my a great deal of concern for other road users, but mostly pedestrians.
