Easily done? Not if you're paying attention. You should keep a constant eye on your surrounding so you always know where nearby vehicles are in the event you need to make an emergency lane change.
The point is there was absolutely no need for the driver to move from the middle lane to the outside lane. Even if the driver was in the inside lane, there was still no need to suddenly change lanes. The ambulance had plenty of room to merge ahead. Had the driver really thought they needed to change lanes then number one rule is check that it's clear, if it's not there is always a magic tool called brakes!

The driver of this Nissan could have caused an accident with that dangerous driving. What an utter bellend. Sees an ambulance with blue lights flashing, merging from the slip-road and darts from lane 2 to lane 3. Maybe lane 1 is invisible to these middle lane hoggers.
