"Rule 187
In all cases watch out for and give plenty of room to
pedestrians who may be crossing the approach and exit roads
traffic crossing in front of you on the roundabout, especially vehicles intending to leave by the next exit
traffic which may be straddling lanes or positioned incorrectly"
This is a direct quote from the Highway Code.gov.uk website
You need to brush up on your English. I did not say the car driver was right to take that exit. I said both drivers were at fault. The biker definitely moved across into the path of the car. He should have been driving defensively. Give the idiot room and stay alive.
Both people were at fault here. The car was in the right hand lane but took the first exit. That exit has two lanes, so the car was trying to continue in the right hand lane of that exit but the biker who was in the left hand lane to start with, veered over to the right hand lane whilst on the roundabout. If the biker had gone into the left hand lane like he should have done the collision wouldn't have happened. It's also a good idea to assume everyone on roundabouts is a knob and prepare to brake and make room for stupid lane swapping as necessary. Always better to give way than get hit. Especially bike v car.
The way this man drives is beyond a joke, on numerous occasions this man has been in near misses both with pedestrians and with other vehicles on the road! Something needs done about this man
i saw this driver passing the red light and he nearly hit me when i was crossing
