I think that you should be able to upload videos like this to the insurance companies web site, or that the insurance companies should search this website when they come around to renewal... Just saying!
From the report it seems she a) can't see anything wrong with over-taking there, and b) Was shocked by what happened. Well, she really shouldn't be driving then..her lack of spatial awareness is going to kill.
Where was this? There's a lot of Arabs in the country at the moment showing off expensive cars..maybe they can also assist any police enquiry (although as reported many foreigners continue to get away with blue murder on our roads).
Porsche driver wearing slippers ‘narrowly avoids causing a head-on smash after overtaking on a blind bend while rushing to pick up her husband from the pub.
Speaking to www.idiotukdriversexposed.com anonymously the uploader told us:
So basically this happened about 5.15pm on Sunday 14th August. We had just driven through Rudston heading towards Bridlington and were behind the blue Citroen, as we approached a slow moving tractor the video shows what happens next.
I initially stopped to check the driver of the Skoda was ok, he was extremely shaken and looked close to tears, he also had a young girl sat in the front seat who was also in shock. I offered the footage to him in case he wanted to take it further but he didn’t think there was any point.
We then carried on driving, initially, we thought the white Porsche had just continued on their journey as they sped off, however about a mile up the road they had pulled into a side lane, we stopped and turned around to assist. We then discovered the white Porsche had actually hit the blue car, there was only scrapes and scuffed paint to both cars with no major damage. They did exchange details with each other.
The driver of the white Porsche was a women who was also driving in her slippers! She said she was on the way to pick up her husband from the pub and that she always overtakes at that spot. She was very apologetic and clearly shaken by the incident. I then offered the driver of the blue Citroen my video footage but he also declined. The road number was B1253.
